Facebook Quizes

So, don't know if many of you are "members" of the Facebook network, but if you are I am sure you have been bombarded with hundreds of chances to take a quiz and others results. When I say the "Which Gone With The Wind" character are you I couldn't resist.

Some of the things they say about Scarlett are pretty harsh.... maybe even a little extreme. Not sure that I agree 100% but my husband has informed me that it just may be pretty correct.

So, "with God as my witness" here are my results.

A Day of First

In our children’s lives there are many first. First steps, first foods, first words. While we have passed many of those milestones today was a first for us. Our first trip to the dentist.
I have been putting this trip off for at least the last 6 months, dreading what would come with it. Today turned out to be the exact opposite of what I had thought it might have been.

I started on Monday pumping Braley up for the big appointment, or maybe bribery would be a better word. I told Braley how fun the dentist would be, how she would get to visit the treasure box, and that she would even get a balloon when she was done.

When I scheduled the appointment they lady went over what they would do during her visit. I was okay with everything until she said they liked to take the kids back by themselves. What, you are going to clean by baby’s teeth and take x-rays without me? After, the initial shock of that passed I was okay with it. In the long run I figured it would be for the best. My girl is defiantly one of those children who is better when her Mama is not around.


From what the girls tell me Braley was a model patient, especially for her first appointment. They were able to clean her teeth, take x-rays, and complete a full exam.
