Snow in Florida

Snow in Florida? Yes, there was snow in Florida but not the kind that comes from the sky, the man made kind from the local ice company. After reading in our local paper that we were to have “snow” on Main Street, how could I resist bundling my family up and heading out into the cold night?

I have saw these snow events on several different occasions, and always thought how neat it was that these Florida babies had the opportunity to throw snow balls and build little snow men. Needless to say I had set the expectation a little high for this night and Braley was slightly disappointed when we showed upand found just a snow slide. While it wasn’t exactly what we (I… North Pole in FL) had dreamed up it was still fun.

Brandon & Braley all warm in their coats.

Almost our turn.

Deciding not to go down along.

Here we go!
( That thing moves faster than I thought so this is the only picture I have of them going down)

A little slippery.

Christmas Program

This time last week we were being sung Christmas carols by all the Pre K classes. Braley’s class sang Milton the Dancing Christmas Mouse, and let me tell ya some of those babies had some moves.

Braley "chuga-chuga like a choo choo train"

While Braley isn't in this picture I had to add it for a special friend.

Braley and the attempt to sit with Santa. I was just glad she asked my Mama if they could go see him. This is about as close as it gets.

Catching Up

Yes, I know, what a shocker a post from no one other than me. It seems like and eternity has passed since I last blogged and I promise to make a better effort in the New Year. While I havent been the best blogger, we have been none less busy. So, I decided that I would share some of my favorite pictures from the last months to fill in the gaps since my last post.

Why we PreK teachers sujbect our parents to such torture I don't know. This is "Braleys" pumpkin she had to decorate for class. I promise she did help.

Braley's class also participated in the school wide literary parade.

Then finished the day off with a pizza party.

I have to admit that I had planned to make Braley a scarecrow costume for Halloween but time fell short and we went as a black cat. I still think she was pretty cute.

Our visit to the pumpkin patch.

And finally Pappy, Boy and Girl sharing a moment out by the pond on Thanksgiving.
