Braley and Mrs. Christy standing in front of her 100 apples
It is even harder (and sad) to believe that my sweet little girl is on the down-hill-slide to completing her first year of school. I know that it only PreK, but still for her to even be big enough to be at school is sad enough. She has loved coming to school and has done very well. Socially she has no problem and I am sure Mrs. Christy and Mrs. Wendy wish that from time to time she could get quiet..... not sure where she got that from :). Academically she is making great gains. I can't believe that at 3 she can identify her letters and knows all but about 3 sounds, can write her first name and part of her last, know all her colors and shapes and most of the numbers between 1-10. We ahve actullay started work on the first group of sight words. One of ther favorite things to do at school is go to the computer lab and the other to visit Mammy in the library. I believe that we may have surpassed the check out limit. Mrs. Priss has also informed me that she is learning Spanish..... hate to burst her bubble but I am afraid that some of her "second language" may be just a little fabricated.
