Wednesday night we will have our annual July 4th bash at church. In lieu of our normal events, we will have barbecue, water-slides for the kids and all kinds of fun. Because I have nothing else to do, I volunteered to decorate the fellowship hall..... actually the nothing to do part isn't true. I just enjoy it. Gonna share a few pictures of the things I threw together. I will apologize ahead of time for the poor pictures, they are all taken off my phone.
The entry way....
the banner says "Happy July 4th" and the buckets are filled with glow stick (love night picture with glow sticks) tootsie rolls, and pin wheels. Also, you can't see them but there are some stickers spread across the table.
My pinwheel bouquet
The buckets on the center of the tables.... they alternate red and blue
The best table of all
Sorry about the blurry picture... around this point, I was getting the look from a certain someone who wanted to get home to watch a baseball game.
Once we got home I got busy making cupcakes. Any normal summer day I would have done this during the day, but this week I have a training and it had to be done.
As you can see, I carried on with the red, white and blue theme.
A few pictures of the layering process.
The finished product.......
that my husband was all to willing to taste.
You'd think I would have been done there, but before I sat down I made Girl and I matching shirts.
For some reason I am all into the 4th the year. Can't wait to go to the lake on Monday and have a few more things to get done between now and them.
Think I better stay away from Google Search:)
