As always I am late..... but happy 2012 to everyone.
I love the feeling a new year brings..... it's as if all the bad from the year before has been washed away and we can start fresh.
We started the new year off with our annual lunch at mom and dad's house.... the food and company were both wonderful.
( A big thanks to Adam for letting post a picture of his plate...conveniently forgot to take a picture of mine)
Black eye peas for luck.
Greens for money
Sweet potatoes (our something orange) for health
And somewhere on there (probably under the greens and peas) cornbread to help us be humble.
A hope 2012 brings wonderful blessing for each of you.

YUM. Nothing like some good southern cooking! Would you believe that we did NOT do the traditional New Year's meal this year? I know...I know.....
Looks yummy! We didn't do a new years meal this year either...hope we'll be ok, ha!
