I am sure this is not the most flattering picture of any of us and I should probably be sent to “The Nut House” for putting it on the internet….. but I just couldn’t resist. There is no date on this picture but I would say it was somewhere around 7th/8th grade and is pretty evident we were in that awkward girl stage. (speaking for myself I am thankful to have outgrown that stage) Those were the days. Hard to believe we are now not only adults but have children of our own. Give them a few more years and they will be trying to figure out how to get out of there cabin and not break the tape.
However, no one worry about me sending my daughter to forestry camp at Olena State Park…. I thought I had been sent to Deliverance. And to this day I have no desire to visit that horrible, terrible, no good place!

Ashley...oh my goodness...I don't know if forgiveness is in the picture for you....well, at least we were having fun & that's what matters, right?!? Beauty is what's on the inside, no matter what the outside looks like (per my momma). I'm sure I was a hot tamale under all that metal!
We were beautiful then and just look at the beautiful strong women we have grown up to be. (I hope you both can find forgivness in your hearts)I will pray for you forgiveness tonight:)
OH MY GOSH... I didnt know that was Crystal Clark!!! I thought that the girl in the middle looked familiar... and when I saw this picture, my first thought was, "Carrie is going to kill her!!!" ha...
I absolutely love it... it makes us apprieciate where we've been, where we are and where we are headed. There's nothing better than going through old pictures and laughing your head off. But you will have to admit you said "Thank you JESUS for friends that last a lifetime".
