Braley fought the asphalt and the asphalt won!

My darling child has become obsessed with SPINNING and is quickly spinning out of control! Twice now in the past week Braley has had some kind of catastrophe spinning. The first of these two mishaps occurred last Sunday night. Braley was spinning all around the living room (even after her Daddy had told her repeatedly to stop) when low and behold she collides into his recliner. It was like watching an: 08 ride. Brandon was all over that chair trying his hardest to keep from falling out as well as trying to keep Braley from going under the chair, into the table or hurting herself in any other way. Did I mention that right before this incident he had just sat down in his chair with a FULL BOWL OF POPCORN!? You can only imagine what happened next. That popcorn sprouted wings and flew all over the living room. Braley being 2 thought it was funny and helped herself to a few pieces. Good thing I had just got finished vacuuming and mopping not two hours earlier.

Today she wasn’t quit so lucky. After repeatedly being asked to stop spinning on the playground (I swear the selective hearing/stubbornness is her daddy)Braley bit the asphalt. Or should I say the asphalt bit her? At her daycare the sandbox is outlined with cross-ties and filled with a mound of sand. Braley instead of spinning on the ground decided to spin on top of this mound. I am sure this made since in her mind until she rolled down the hill and her forehead met the asphalt. My child being the drama queen she is milked it for all it was worth. When I came to pick her up only moments later she was sitting on the playground, bag of ice on her head just a crying. Needless to say my presence didn’t help the situation. Once in the car she had to call her Daddy and Uncle Boy to let them know of the tragedy and all about her bag of ice. And before we could go home she needed to stop by Mammy and Pappy’s house so they could see it as well. She told Mammy a trip to McDonalds to get a toy would make it all better…… today Mammy was to busy to fall for this line.

Braley received plenty of love, hugs, kisses and even a bug juice. I expect her to make a full recovery by morning.

You can see by bedtime it wasn't looking so bad :)

That's terrible! To think, I have that to look forward to. Yikes.
