Little Miss Attitude

While I have yet to find time to pretty up my page I couldn’t help but share what Braley said today. For all my friends with those sweet little baby girls at home… just wait until the day you pick your child up from school and you hear “ Let me tell you what your child did/ said today”. I mean it’s not like this phrase isn’t something we (Brandon & I) have become accustomed to. My darling daughter has mooned the whole school, peed on the playground- because that’s what she and boy do in the field (thanks Adam) and has enough sass for her and several others….. Lord that sass is gonna get her in a heap of trouble. Anyway back to today... Braley attends school with her favorite cousin Charlee and they love hate relationship and are quite a bit alike. So today due to cold weather they are cooped up inside, Charlee being a few years older than Braley is entertaining herself strolling around and around the table. Braley not wanting to be outdone is following Charlee step for step. Charlee being a little annoyed with Braleys’ mimicking behavior says “BRALEY LEAVE ME ALONE! STOP FOLLOWING ME”. Braley and her two year old response “Mrs. Amy Charlee told me to stop” Mrs. Amy replies “Braley what are you doing to Charlee” got to love a child honesty. “Following her and she doesn’t like it” Mrs. Amy being the adult “Well Braley if Charlee doesn’t like it don’t do it. Go play with one of your other friends”. All is well right? Wrong, five minutes later rewind and repeat the above. Again once done talking to Mrs. Amy Braley walks back over to Charlee however this time she gives her the look puts her finger in her face and says “BIG MISTAKE” turns around and walks off. She is 2 who does she think she is… is that suppose to be a threat? All I can think of is Julia Roberts in Pretty Women being turned away at the ritzy store and returning with all the bags in hand and saying to the sales lady “Big mistake, huge mistake”.

Paybacks! I guess I should think my mother for praying so hard during my nine months of pregnancy that I would get paid back for everything I ever did. I am starting to think that it’s a good thing I wised up at a early age and that I don’t embarrass easily.

Charlee and Braley.... they can mess with each other but you had better not mess with them.

What a long road we have ahead of us... I can only imagine the t-r-o-u-b-l-e the two of them will be "knee-deep" in when they are 18 and 16.

Calling all friends to start praying now. ;)
